چکیده

The mass transfer of a rising bubble in creeping flow regime is numerically investigated. A reversible oxidation-reduction reaction taken into account. Two coupled equations are needed to study the oxygen and reduced species transport. Three dimensionless numbers involved: Péclet Damköhler ratio diffusion coefficient oxygen. Numerical computations applied soda-lime-silica borosilicate glass-forming liquids. Results focused on determination Sherwood number. enhances strongly when chemical very fast, i.e. at large value Correlations determine enhancement factor proposed two limits small numbers. number increases. correlation taking account advection reaction.
